Hi,

My name is Jylane (Jyl for short), I founded the KHK because I originally wanted to promote Kill Hannah throughout Canada only.  It gained international exposure within the first few weeks of starting the KHK.  Originally it was called the Kill Hannah Kult , which Mat found to be too dark and aggressive so he asked if we would change it.  It took months of consideration, but the final agreed upon name is the Kill Hannah Kollective. 

My typical day starts at 4:30 and goes till 10:30

4:30-6:30 work on KHK

6:30-8:30 get ready for work

7:30-5:00 work at day job assisting lawyers

5:00-7:00 gym (preparing for fitness model competition)

7:00-10:30 (or later) work on KHK stuff

10:30 and after (I either sleep or go out)

Weekends of course tend to be a little different where I sleep in till 6am and where I would do my day job I fill with working on KHK and maybe a little shopping, get my hair done, you know girly stuff. 

In total I spend 50+ hours a week working on KHK.  While I am at my day job I also get to work on some KHK stuff and I have no idea how many hours I do that for…I would probably say at least 4 hours per day…but don’t tell my boss that.

A few people have asked me “how much work could there possibly be”?

            Well every morning I send out the birthday greetings to those having a birthday. 

            I send out a bulletin updating everyone

            I add new members

            I respond to approximately 50-100 emails a day.

            In contact with business regard deals on merchandise and promotional materials

            Send thank you letters to those that help and support us the most

            Send out, collect and summarize monthly reports on all divisions

            Ensure database of KHK leaders is up to date

            Recruit new leaders and guide them through the process

            Find new prizes for contests

            Develop new ideas for the KHK, new ways to promote and implement them

            Making sure all the sites we are on are up to date

            Make prizes and gifts

            Promote the KHK and represent it as a family.
            Motivating and working with the leaders to promote Kill Hannah and the KHK

Take things as they come…there is always something strange and unusual that comes up…J

I love wish I loved the holiday season.  It seems to be pure torture for me.  I have lost 3 VERY important people in my life, people that I loved unconditionally all during the holiday season.  During this time of year, you would swear I was bipolar with my back and forths, up and downs.  Although with the new year this always brings about a new light, a new sense of self and a new perspective.  I tend to become highly motivated, my ADHD seems to kick into overdrive and the best time of year for me to accomplish goals. 

Although the holidays are rough for a lot of people, I do admit I have hurt people in the past during this difficult time.  I become someone else completely, with irrational thinking and behavior.  Although it’s only a few days out of the year….It can be very destructive.
